Another one, Steelers add former Titan defensive linemen

(BLACK & GOLD NATION) — The Steelers beefed up defensive line depth Friday, adding former Titans defensive linemen Sebastian Joseph-Day to a two-year, $11 million contract.

The veteran was a former sixth-round pick of the Rams in 2018. Pittsburgh is his fifth team after stops with the Rams, Chargers, 49ers, and Titans.

Joseph-Day played in all 17 games for the Titans last season, recording 41 tackles and two sacks.

Pittsburgh has been incredibly busy this week in free agency, adding key pieces in the secondary like Jamel Dean and Jaquan Brisker, as well as offensive weapons in wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr., through a trade, and running back Rico Dowdle. While the quarterback room remains foggy, the Steelers have now addressed many of the biggest concerns heading into the offseason.

The Steelers still have a need at offensive guard, and could address that in the draft. NFL Draft Buzz grades five offensive guards in the top 101 prospects.
