Brewers 3, White Sox 0: Offense grabs another early lead

· Yahoo Sports

The Milwaukee Brewers, coming off their 14-2 domination on opening day, return to action by once again hosting the Chicago White Sox in an interleague matchup at American Family Field on Saturday night, March 28.

Right-hander Chad Patrick takes the mound for Milwaukee, which struck out a franchise-high 20 White Sox batters, and will be countered by Chicago right-hander Sean Burke.

The offense keeps rolling

After Patrick worked around a two-out single and walk in the top of the first, Brice Turang led off by doubling off the base of the wall in left field.

Turang went to third on a William Contreras comebacker, then consecutive singles by Christian Yelich, Jake Bauers and Garrett Mitchell gave the Brewers a 3-0 lead.

Burke needed 29 pitches to complete the frame.
