The ring celebration was theatrical, with members of the 2025 World Series-winning Los Angeles Dodgers each receiving their hardware for the first time.
To make matters even more special and unforgettable, future first ballot Hall-of-Famer Clayton Kershaw, threw out the ceremonial first pitch and was later presented his ring by his former teammates.
There were a handful of players that repped Dodger Blue that were unable to receive World Series rings, but they turned out to be the ones who contributed the most.
Looking ahead to the game, the Dodgers were looking to remain perfect and secure the series win over the
Right-hander Emmet Sheehan took the mound for the Dodgers and was unable to complete four innings. His final line score read 3 1/3 innings, allowing four earned runs on five hits while striking out six.
Manager Dave Roberts spoke on the difficult Spring that Sheehan said, nailing the troubles down to mechanical issues.
It looked as though that was the case Friday night with every time Sheehan completed an inning, his velocity seemed to dip down.
Arizona was able to work the right-hander into long counts.
Emmet Sheehan had issues maintaining his stuff and command in spring, something they attributed to some mechanical stuff he was working through.

For the second consecutive night, the Diamondbacks rang up their name first on the scoreboard.
After Gabriel Moreno and Pavin Smith led off the second inning reaching base, Alek Thomas doubled down the right-field line to give Arizona an early 1-0 lead.
Smith tested his luck trying to score from first, but outfielder Kyle Tucker showed his arm strength and gunned him out with ease to end the frame.
They got the run back the following inning as Ketel Marte ambushed Sheehan's 94 mph fastball in the middle of the zone and took it 391 feet over the right-field wall.
The Dodgers turned the tide in their bottom half of the third.
Alex Freeland made his season debut on Friday night starting at second base and made his impression felt on the offensive side, hitting his first home run of the season during his first at-bat.

Los Angeles felt they were hitting a groove until the Dbacks punched back as Thomas hit his second RBI double to tie the game 4-4.
After that Betts three-run blast, 14 straight Dodgers hitters were retired.
It wasn't until Freeland led off the bottom of the eighth with his second extra-base hit of his debut. Ohtani moved him up to third and Tucker hit the go-ahead RBI single to give the Dodgers a 5-4 lead.
