France predicted XI v Colombia: Rayan Cherki to start in fully rotated team
· Yahoo Sports
France face Colombia this Sunday at Landover’s Northwest Stadium for the second game of their US tour. After Thursday’s convincing 2-1 win against Carlo Ancelotti’s Brazil, Les Bleus boss Didier Deschamps said he’d fully rotate his side against Los Cafeteros. Bayern Munich centre-back Dayot Upamecano will miss out on the action entirely after being released following his red card against Brazil. Crystal Palace’s Maxence Lacroix will be given his first France start alongside PSG’s Lucas Hernandez.
Deschamps is expected to retain his faith in his hybrid 4-2-3-1 set-up. Warren Zaïre-Emery and N’Golo Kanté are set to compose the double pivot. The Al-Ittihad midfielder is set to be given the armband. The four attacking players to start should be Maghnes Akliouche, Rayan Cherki, Marcus Thuram and Désiré Doué.
