Moreover, there are weekly deals that include $2 Tuesdays; wing Wednesdays (free admission for veterans as well as all-you-can-eat wings for $10); thrifty Thursdays where one gets a ticket plus select merchandise; and fireworks Fridays, among other announcements available at https://freebirdsbaseball.com.

This season will feature more than 20 special events at the Marysville ballpark known as Bryant Field, located at 14th and C Street.

Freebirds’ league

Playing against Yuba-Sutter in 2026 will be eleven other teams competing in an independent league known as an MLB partner league, which was established in 2021 as such. The league is designed, in part, as one that openly tries out new innovations to professional baseball before the MLB implements them.

The league covers multiple states across the western region, including both halves of California. New to the Pioneer Baseball League are the Modesto Roadsters and the Long Beach Coast – the latter opens with Yuba-Sutter on May 19.

Both Modesto and Long Beach will be coached by former MLB players, including a pair who met in the 2002 World Series. JT Snow, formerly of the San Francisco Giants, will manage Modesto, while ex-Angels closer and 2002 world champion Troy Percival runs the Long Beach Coast.

Percival will be in Marysville with Long Beach on May 19.
