The social media world is buzzing following the confrontation between legendary coaches, Dawn Staley and Geno Auriemma. None bigger than arguably the biggest brand on ESPN, Stephen A. Smith.

Smith had plenty to say on X coming to the aid of Staley calling him classless and stating that he was out couched the entire night before questioning why he got in her face.
Smith has shown plenty of praise to Staley over the years claiming that she is an NBA-caliber head coach. She also reportedly interviewed for the Portland Trail Blazers vacancy before they hired Chauncey Billups.
