Florida State was busy hosting high school recruits during its second scrimmage of spring practice on Saturday. One of the key visitors was 2028 five-star offensive lineman George Selvie III out of Sumner High School in Riverview, Florida.

It was the first trip to Tallahassee for the 6-foot-3, 265-pounder. The Seminoles did an excellent job of selling Selvie on the program, as he praised the visit on social media.

"I had a great experience at Florida State today! It was a great opportunity to meet the coaching staff and see where the program is headed!" Selvie said.

It was of the utmost importance that FSU nailed this trip because Selvie is being pursued by some of the top programs in the country. Ohio State, Michigan, and Florida have also extended offers to him.

Speaking of Ohio State, they, along with Florida State, are standing out to Selvie. Now, the Seminoles need to work on an official visit for him soon.

Selvie is the No. 12 player nationally and the No. 1 interior offensive lineman per the 247Sports composite rankings. He's also the No. 5 prospect in the state of Florida. FSU does not have a commit in the 2028 recruiting cycle.
