To Nole Nation and everyone who has reached out with messages of encouragement, thank you. The outpouring of love has meant the world to me during a really difficult time. I am heartbroken that my season has come to an end and I'm still processing all the emotions that come with that.

I want to express my deepest gratitude to Dr. Guyer, the staff at TH, and our great trainers at FSU for their world-class care. I also want to thank my family and incredible support system in Tallahassee for being with me through the successful surgery and this beginning stage of my healing process.

Even though I can't be out there battling with my teammates on the field, am proud of how this team has responded and rallied together this last week. It once again shows the makeup of this group. My role may be different now but I will do everything I can to support my guys from the sidelines to help us win.

Go Noles

Myles Bailey

The Tallahassee native suffered a leg injury when he slid into second base and was carted off the field and taken to the hospital. He was recently named to the Golden Spikes Award watch list after his great start to the season.

He has been FSU's top player this season, emerging as one of the best first basemen in the country. He hit .363 this season with a .913 slugging percentage, 13 home runs, and 33 RBI. He has walked 35 times this season, with teams consistently pitching around him and intentionally walking him 10 times.
