LSU and Duke already met once this year, with LSU beating Kara Lawson's squad 93-77 in Durham in December. LSU travelled to get the victory in that one, and the Tigers will look to do the same a long way from home this week.
LSU handled the first two rounds with ease. The Tigers hung 116 points vs. Jacksonville in the first round, before holding Texas Tech to 47 points in the second round.
If LSU beats Duke, it will be the Tigers' fourth straight Elite 8 appearance under head coach Kim Mulkey. The Tigers won the national championship in 2023, before back-to-back Elite 8 exits in 2024 and 2025. LSU's likely Elite 8 opponent would be UCLA, which would be LSU's third-straight year facing the Bruins in the tournament.
But first, LSU has to get past a red-hot Duke team. The Blue Devils aren't the same group LSU beat in December.
